Collins Aerospace is looking for a Contracts Analyst to help implement legal strategies in support of business interests. You will communicate and influence senior function leaders regarding matters of significant importance. In addition, you will improve department processes through the application of theoretical to advanced knowledge and experience in the contracts function.

  • Position is working remotely

What You Will Do

  • Leads the drafting, generation, interpretation and management of contract documents, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations to protect and mitigate the organization's legal and business interests.
  • Advises the organization on issues concerning contract matters.
  • Manages multiple small- to medium-sized projects.
  • Advises and represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters.
  • Creates proposals, negotiates and executes contracts.
  • Provides legal advice on warranty and contract administration.
  • Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships.
  • Maintains historical contract database and records.
  • Makes minor chances or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work area.
  • Travel up to 25% domestically when circumstances permit
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position 
  • Contract drafting and negotiation experience
  • Experience with negotiation strategies

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or CORE
  • Experience with financial aspects of contracts and other business arrangements

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
