The Opportunity:
You will provide pre-award and post-award contracting support to a Federal Government customer in Washington, D.C
Responsibilities:
You will perform full lifecycle contract administration support to include:
- Developing acquisition plans and other procurement justification and approval documentation.
- Assisting in source selection plans to include development of evaluation criteria, contract line item structures, statements of work, contract modifications, and contract correspondence.
- Providing professional support to include; acquisition planning, market research, price/cost estimates, document development, quality assurance surveillance plans, statements of work, synopses, solicitations, price negotiation memoranda, proposal evaluations, price/cost analysis, reviewing contractor performance, developing contract modifications, investigating reports of contract discrepancies, and contract close-out assistance.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An acquisition certification equivalency of level I (FAC-C or DAWIA).
- Five (5) years of progressive acquisition experience supporting and developing complex government procurements.
- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation with the ability to quickly adapt to agency specific regulations.
- Demonstrated experience with acquisition streamlining initiatives and reforms.
- Knowledge and an understanding of the various acquisition approaches to include full and open competition, firm-fixed price contracts, labor-hour contracts, government-wide agency contracts, inter-agency agreements, and blanket purchase agreements, and ability to formulate the appropriate documentation for the various approaches.
- Good organization and writing skills.
- Experience in handling large and complex procurements from procurement planning through contract execution.
- Demonstrated expertise in all life cycle phases of contracting, including the pre-award phase of contracting (acquisition planning, solicitation, source selection, and award) and post-award contract administration.
- Ability to identify and correct contract issues

The proposed salary range for this position is:
