JPI has an immediate opening for a Project Manager with at least five to seven (5-7) years professional experience providing project management (preferably Agile in a Federal work environment). The successful candidate will have experience developing and maintaining project plans, updating master schedules, scheduling meetings, facilitation meetings, follow-on tasks, and providing updates to stakeholders as needed. Candidate will develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and associated efforts for each sprint/release cycle Serve as a project manager for GSA initiatives, openly communicate with clients for status updates and planning, and work with the development team to ensure all requirements are built to specifications. Provide updates as needed to various stakeholder organizations.

Responsibilities Include:
Client Service Delivery (90%):
· Gather customers’ requirements and develops / writes project scope and objectives;
· Prepare detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports;
· Analyze client needs within business processes for all applications to ensure requirements are understood and documented to present to the development team;
· Develop and maintain project plans;
· Update IMS on a daily basis;
· Coordinate with the development team and stakeholders to implement all system updates and enhancements;
· Coordinate and conducts meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis;
· Review deliverables and ensures adherence to quality standards;
· Provide recommendations and takes action to resolve any management related issues;
· Anticipate potential project/program related problems and mitigate these problems;
· Use refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or mitigating solutions, project/program and business risk;
· Understand customer, industry and business trends. Apply this understanding to meet project / program objectives. As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement;
· Conduct analysis of systems, including diagnosis and correction of faults, and proposes solutions;
· Create and document use cases, test cases, test plans and other supporting testing documentation;
· Conduct presentation and demos of new releases to stakeholders;
· Work with stakeholders and the development team to triage production issues and coordinate the Testing efforts once issues are fixed;
· Act as primary point of contact when handling customer inquiries.
Business Development (5%):
· Positively represents JPI to different clients through clear articulation of JPI's value proposition;
· Develops client relationships and communication channels that provide insight into growth opportunities;
· Identifies alignment of JPI solutions to client needs.
Personnel and Team Development (5%) – As Needed:
· Develops and mentors personnel to ensure career aspirations are understood;
· Assists with the career development of staff;
· Identifies training opportunities and appropriate certifications for staff to pursue.
· At least five to seven (5-7) years’ experience in project management (preferably Agile) and quality assurance;
· Deep understanding of Agile, ITIL, SDLC, SELC and CMMI principles;
· Ability to develop and manage details project plans and maintain them on daily basis;
· Ability to analyze information and situations and implements actions independently and/or through the management team to ensure project /program objectives are met;
· Experience leading Scrum meetings, defining sprints, related timelines, monitoring progress, and driving tasks to completion;
· Ability to monitor work performance and ensure product deliverables and solutions support management and decision-making and facilitate communications;
· Develop risk management plans: Identify risks, resolve problems and verify effectiveness of corrective actions;
· Experience promoting collaboration between team members;
· Ability to analyze new and complex project/program related problems and create solutions;
· Experience working with government human resources and financial applications;
· Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process;
· Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in large geographically dispersed team settings to include close collaboration with internal program managers;
· Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google tools;
· PMI PMP certification preferred;
· Bachelor’s degree;
· Clearance: Preferably holds current clearance.

Expected compensation for this role is between $75,000-$100,000, including a generous benefits package with comprehensive healthcare coverage.
