Role Overview:

 

We are seeking a proactive and skilled engineer to join our team at Master Builders Solutions. As part of this role, you will work closely with our sales and marketing teams, along with concrete producers and contractors, providing expert technical guidance to facilitate the implementation of advanced high-performance concrete technologies.  We are seeking to hire an engineer, preferably located in Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, or Denver, to support our business in the United States.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

•          Engage in continuous learning about the concrete technologies, new applications, the construction industry, and our customers, leveraging insights to drive business growth.

•          Articulate the full spectrum of value offered by our products, services, systems, and solutions, ensuring comprehensive understanding among customers and stakeholders of the unique benefits of choosing Master Builders Solutions.

•          Collaborate effectively across functions with marketing, sales, R&D, and others, exhibiting leadership and fostering a team environment aimed at reaching collective objectives.

•          Lead the coordination and development of supporting materials such as collateral, field data, and case studies. These materials will highlight the effectiveness and benefits of our product line, reinforcing our specification-related efforts.

•          Represent and advocate for our brand at industry associations, technical committee meetings, and trade shows.

•          Cultivate and maintain industry relationships to reinforce our leadership position in the concrete construction marketplace, thereby increasing brand visibility and market penetration.

•          Strategically identify and pursue opportunities for our value-added product offerings by engaging with design engineers, contractors, project managers, and other industry professionals through targeted in-person presentations, webinars, and other promotional activities.

•          Provide expert troubleshooting and consultative support for concrete performance issues, offering reliable solutions to enhance product trustworthiness and customer satisfaction.

•          Ensure adherence to all company initiatives, policies, and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and governance.

 

 

 

Position Requirements

•          Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering license is preferred.

•          Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on concrete technologies, application, and performance.

•          Experience in cross-functional collaboration, showing the ability to work effectively with teams in marketing, sales, R&D, and other areas to achieve comprehensive business objectives.

•          Previous experience in construction, marketing, or sales within the concrete industry is highly desirable.

•          Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

•          Familiarity with the latest industry trends, standards, and regulations related to concrete and construction.

•          Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical information to diverse audiences.

•          Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.

•          Advanced computer skills across diverse applications.

•          Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

•          Effective planning and time management capabilities.

•          Proactive and resilient with a strong drive for innovation.

•          Commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.

•          Willingness and ability to travel as required, with travel expected to be 50% or more.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $110,000 - $122,000 Annually

The pay range for this position in Washington is $118,000-$132,000 Annually
