Location: Remote - US. Candidates MUST be based in the United States or Canada to be considered.
Travel Required: Yes, approximately 2-3 times annually.
Job Summary:
Real is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled communicator with a knack for crafting compelling messages, managing communications workflows, and driving engagement across various channels. The Communications Strategist will play a key role in managing email newsletters, event communications, and executive communications, ensuring that all messaging aligns with Real’s voice and brand.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Email Newsletters: Plan, write, and edit engaging email newsletters to keep agents informed and inspired.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather content, align messaging, and ensure timely distribution.
Analyze newsletter performance and implement data-driven improvements to increase engagement.
Event Communications: Develop and execute communication plans for events, including internal meetings, webinars, and conferences.
Coordinate pre-event messaging, on-site materials, and post-event follow-ups to ensure seamless communication.
Partner with the marketing and events teams to ensure consistency and alignment across channels.
Executive Communications: Support the creation of speeches, presentations, and other communications for company executives.
Assist in developing messaging frameworks and talking points that convey leadership’s vision and priorities.
Ensure executive communications are clear, impactful, and tailored to diverse audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to gather input and align communications with broader company goals.
Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, providing communication support and best practices.
Project Management:
Manage timelines, approvals, and deliverables for multiple communication projects simultaneously.
Ensure all communications are consistent with the company’s tone, voice, and brand guidelines.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging content across various formats.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders effectively.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and analytics tools is a plus.
Proficiency in Google Office Suite and presentation tools (e.g., Google Slides).
Familiarity with Figma, Squarespace, and Asana, with the ability to create and edit visual assets, manage web content, and coordinate projects efficiently.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or journalism roles.
Experience in event communications with an understanding of messaging for pre, during and post events.
Experience in a marketing or communications role within the real estate industry is a plus.
