Commercial Territory Representative

Job Summary:
As a Commercial Territory Representative, you will provide potential customers with expertise and education on a wide variety of energy products, helping Mid-size commercial and industrial businesses become smart energy consumers. This role is full-time and offers competitive benefits, base salary plus upfront and residual commissions, and has great opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Acquire and retain Mid-size commercial and industrial customers by working an assigned territory and selling various energy products such as natural gas and electricity.
Use a consultative selling approach to increase customer’s awareness of choices in the energy market as well as the competitive advantages over other energy providers and provide potential customers with pricing options and effectively close the sale.
Develops relationships with an emphasis on education and serves as a trusted partner to new and existing customers.
Assure quality and accurate representation of products; represent the company professionally and ensure that potential customers have an exceptional experience.
Utilizes different technologies to track sales activities and customer data.
Develop collaborative working relationships with other members of the sales team and internal partners.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Business or related field experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, auto insurance coverage that satisfies the minimum requirement for the state.

Salary Range:
$40,000.00 - $65,000.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an uncapped sales commission.
