We are proud to say that our company has ranked TOP 500 fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. 500 7 years in a row!Freedom Forever is currently hiring a Cash Collections Specialist! POSITION SUMMARY:  The Cash Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate collections of outstanding accounts receivable. The Collections Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to promote a positive customer experience.  ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Manage a dynamic portfolio of customer accounts, including collections calls and email communications to collect outstanding balances Work with customers to identify payment plans and negotiate payment arrangements to bring delinquent accounts current Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any billing discrepancies Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the Company CRM Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address root causes of delinquency and improve collections processes Stay up-to-date on all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies and procedures related to collections  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:  Education & Certifications: 

• High School Graduate or GED, with some college coursework in accounting, finance, or related field preferred 

 Experience: 

• 2+ years of experience in collections or customer service, preferably in a solar or renewable energy company 

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet goals and deadlines 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software 
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

• Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers 
• Regularly spend long hours answering phone calls and emails 
• Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly 
• Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer 
• Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects 
• Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away 
• Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand 
• Regularly understand the speech of another person 
• Frequently work on projects that require deadlines 
• Frequently bend to file and maintain files
