The Department of Economic Security, Division of Technology Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as Cloud Solutions Architect. The Cloud Solutions Integration Architect is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure, integrations (including API and RPA processes) and platforms required for cloud computing. Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems will be securely integrated with current applications. Cloud architects are responsible for managing the cloud computing architecture in an organization, including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, delivery and networks required to manage cloud storage. Including fit of PAAS and SAAS products into the environment. . Utilizing skills such as API Integration / Mulesoft, RPA / UIPath, Salesforce and TOGAF Certification.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the department's needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Design and transfer applications including integrations (API's / RPA) to the cloud, developing and implementing corporate cloud strategy (including necessary information, management strategy and policy). Offer expert guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud and will identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the agency.
• Provide guidance to cloud developers/implementers on cloud solution development best practices. Create and maintain documentation artifacts such as design diagrams, data flow diagrams, deployment diagrams, infrastructure diagrams, etc. Participate in the development and establishment a statewide cloud governance model.
• Deliver expert guidance on architectural principles and services of top cloud platforms to drive design and deployment of highly scalable, fault-tolerant applications. Participate in the RFP process to identify and select cloud providers. Develop technical and budgetary presentations for senior executives.
• Perform cloud capacity planning. Develop cloud policies and define governance frameworks for the operation and management of cloud services.

• Develop cloud strategies and coordinate the adaptation process

Selective Preference(s):

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other IT related discipline. Working experience with Mulesoft, UIPath and Salesforce products.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Applicants for this position will be required to apply for and show proof of a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card.

• Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
• If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
• Five (5) plus years of experience in Cloud Solutions including Architecting, developing and deploying Applications and Platforms to the Public Cloud.
• Current certification in one of the following Public Cloud Architectures: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect.

Retirement:

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement. You will also have the option to participate in a voluntary deferred compensation program to take advantage of tax-deferred retirement investments.
