Cloud QA Analyst

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Cloud QA Analyst. This qualified individual will assist with Quality Assurance needs,  in support of CFTC Cloud infrastructure team. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, civilian, health, and state and local markets. What you will do:

• Test complex applications, develop automated tests and demonstrate ownership of all features based on Business requirement.
• Design, implement, and execute manual test cases for different test phases including functional, system integration, regression and UAT, to provide in depth coverage of functionality.
• Script and execute tests for back-end testing - Databases, APIs.
• Test Cloud Infrastructure – Instances, Load balancers, Gateways, Security Domains by any Testing and reporting tools.
• Ensures that quality control procedures adequately evaluate products.
• Determines if current methods and techniques result in meeting reliability standards or require modification.
• Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
• Conducts quality assurance tests
• May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum 5 years experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree
• Experience working as QA/Testing Analyst, Test Lead in AWS/Azure cloud
• Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices with a proven ability create test plans
• Experience in writing effective test cases that provide in depth coverage of functionality
• Solid experience managing testing activities for SIT, UAT, regression testing phases, for mobile and web applications
• Experience with test management tools like ALM, Quality Manager, etc.
• Experience developing test cases in AWS/Azure
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Federal or Government contracting and consulting experience is a plus
• Certifications in either AWS or Azure

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Apply
