Roles and Responsibilities
This position will work with and may manage/coordinate directly with the Zone/Region/Market PSS the sale of the company's products. They will be called on as a clinical/technical product expert.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Segment support for NPI/NSI launches and programs/strategies
- Clinical/Product expertise in Neonatal Intensive Care Products including Hybrid Incubators, Infant Warmers, Incubators, NICU Critical Care Monitors, and Transport devices.
- Work with MIC Strategic Sales Manager/MGM sales leaders and PSS to increase prospects and drive closure of all MIC opportunities
- Provide training to PSS team members on strategy and MIC products
- Presale strategic and clinical sales support for assigned Zone/Region/Market to support PSS
- Post sale support to drive adoption of fetal products
- Representing the company at trade shows and internal GE meetings to promote MIC products
- In conjunction with PSS, establish and develop strong business relationships, identify and respond to key decision maker’s needs, record and maintain account contact records in the relevant CRM tools.
- In conjunction with ESC, establish and develop a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory
- Communicate and track market trends to/from the field including competitor data, and support implementation of effective counterstrategies.
- Is accountable to achieve the Product/Solution/Service orders/sales OP target for assigned accounts and or territory
- Increase orders, sales, margin, and share through world-class clinical consulting, strong customer relationships, and educational support for regional sales team, local/national “show sites” and regional customer base. These roles require specialty clinical qualifications.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
This role will cover the MIC West Zone - WA, CA, NV, AZ, ID, MT, NM, CO, WY
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or minimum 5 years of technical product promotion/selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field (e.g. biomedical engineering, medical physicists) or Life Sciences field
- Nursing degree with emphasis in Neonatal Care
- Demonstrated experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Strong ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based sales approach
- Excellent ability develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
- Strong team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English
- Strong presentation skills with excellent ability to synthesize and explain complex issues
- Able to travel extensively
- Valid motor vehicle license

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $102,400.00-$153,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
