Roles and Responsibilities
The MIC Clinical Sales Specialist works as part of MIC Segment team to develop/drive their programs/product strategy and directly support NPI/NSI launches. This position will has a defined geographic coverage area by Zone/Region and will carry its associated quota. Expected to be able to differentiate PCS/MIC's product offerings, convey compelling value propositions, qualify identified opportunities, develop/present solutions, and respond to customers' clinical/technical questions.
This position will work with and may manage/coordinate directly with the Zone/Region/Market PSS the sale of the company's products. They will be called on as a clinical/technical product expert.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Segment support for NPI/NSI launches and programs/strategies
- Clinical/Product expertise in Maternal Fetal products including fetal monitors, Centricity Perinatal and Novii
- Work with MIC Strategic Sales Manager/MGM sales leaders and PSS to increase prospects and drive closure of all MIC opportunities
- Provide training to PSS team members on strategy and MIC products
- Presale strategic and clinical sales support for assigned Zone/Region/Market to support PSS
- Post sale support to drive adoption of fetal products
- Representing the company at trade shows and internal GE meetings to promote MIC products
- In conjunction with PSS, establish and develop strong business relationships, identify and respond to key decision maker’s needs, record and maintain account contact records in the relevant CRM tools.
- In conjunction with ESC, establish and develop a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory
- Communicate and track market trends to/from the field including competitor data, and support implementation of effective counterstrategies.
- Is accountable to achieve the Product/Solution/Service orders/sales OP target for assigned accounts and or territory
