The Opportunity

The Clinical Quality Operations Specialist is responsible for contributing to the delivery of Clinical Quality data, metrics, and reporting within the Clinical Quality department.

Responsibilities

  • Support of all new and ongoing processes managed by the Provider Evaluation unit of Clinical Quality
  • Contribute to quality data reporting, including provider performance metrics and process documentation
  • Data entering and sorting onto complex Excel spreadsheets
  • Support the execution of the day-to-day deliverables of the Clinical Quality surveillance programs
  • Composing of formal letters
  • Creating formal agendas and meeting minutes
  • Review client contract requirements, reporting requests, and governmental compliance requirements to assess ability of department to meet the needs; identify gaps and recommend mechanisms to best deliver results
  • Support new product launches and the associated Clinical Quality reporting and process needs
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reporting requests in an accurate and timely manner, including contributing to the departmental monthly dashboard
  • Provide data analysis and trends based on report outputs; work with department peers and leaders to identify opportunities based on insights
  • Recommend process improvements and efficiencies to continuously strengthen departmental functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including the tracking and processing of administrative tasks as needed

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree with fields of study in Compliance, Project Management, and/or Data Analysis and Reporting.  Years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • 1-2 years of work/intern experience in Healthcare or similar healthcare related organization
  • Intermediate/Advanced software skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with process management, reporting, and data analysis
  • Experience in regulatory writing and reporting
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and oral formats, at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge and skills in Microsoft products suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Project
  • Ability to prepare statistical reports and charts

Preferred Skills

  • Six Sigma Certification a plus
  • Ability to create and sustain a track record of seeing the big picture, taking initiative and implementing solutions to meet established goals
  • Knowledge of Healthcare and federal/state regulations as they pertain to healthcare administration
  • Technical writing skills a plus
  • Skills and knowledge of Clinical Quality processes and procedures
  • Knowledge and applied skills in developing and documenting project plans and programs
  • Possesses a collaborative work style and skills with tact and diplomacy
  • Experience with multi-tasking, prioritizing, and coordinating projects
  • Ability to constructively collaborate with peers and colleagues in sharing value added input, feedback, and assessments
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Must have a high level of reason and data analytical skills with ability to be objective in reviewing all types of business and systems data

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
