The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Clinical Development Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Developing & maintaining expert disease & procedure classification encoding software for HIM clients utilizing intermediate logic-based programming language independently
- Testing and performing quality control measures on expert software.
- Promoting excellent customer relations by providing timely and accurate answers to coding and other expert software questions.
- Keeping current & enhancing software with country coding guidelines and classification system revisions & other update deadlines based on official regulations & guidelines including customer/marketing enhancements.
- Leading the development & implementation of improvements and/or solutions to work processes and tools.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND three (3) years of hospital coding experience.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND seven (7) years of hospital coding experience.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- HIM credential. RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC - one or more (BSIT, BSN or RN or equivalent job experience).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in healthcare or nursing informatics.
- Good communication, oral presentation and writing skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to use coding knowledge and clinical knowledge (disease processes, procedures, anatomy) to interpret coding rules/regulations and incorporate into databases.
- Strong database computer skills in intermediate logic design with programming knowledge preferred (HTML, C, C++, etc.).
- Ability to utilize coding expertise & logic creatively to find logical/easier ways to arrive at code assignment.
- Working knowledge of Jdelphi, TFS preferred.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
