Summary:

In this role, you will assess and evaluate opportunities for healthcare organizations (HCOs) to enhance patient care delivery and services. This includes analyzing data, contributing to strategic and tactical recommendations, and providing performance improvement and clinical advisory expertise. Leveraging your clinical experience, you will assimilate and analyze data to deliver actionable insights that drive meaningful change. Additionally, you will act as a key resource in developing and executing project plans to support healthcare organizations in optimizing patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage clinical expertise to identify opportunities for hospital cost savings, operational improvements, and enhanced patient outcomes.

• Conduct assessments of Indirect Spend Services at healthcare organizations (HCOs), analyze results, and provide data-driven recommendations.

• Develop, maintain, and oversee workplans to drive operational improvements.

• Collaborate with internal Indirect Spend Sourcing teams and other workstreams to maximize the value of Vizient solutions.

• Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration and client engagement.

• Serve as a primary resource for customers, addressing issues promptly and ensuring satisfactory resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Relevant clinical degree preferred. Advanced degree desired.

• 2 or more years relevant experience within an HCO required.

• Strong understanding of HCOs operations and financial planning required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. (i.e., analyze and interpret data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable insights).

• Experience in an Operating Room or in Critical / Intensive Care desired.

• Experience in Healthcare Value Analysis preferred.

• Project management and solution delivery experience in health care, operations management or consulting preferred.

• Possess strong client-facing and group presentation skills.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.

• Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
