Job Overview

In this role, you’ll work closely with a beauty manufacturer near NYC, collaborating with clients and internal teams. Circana, the world’s leading advisor on consumer behavior with a focus on point-of-sale (POS) data, is seeking sharp analytical minds to execute, analyze, and present findings to our clients. Use your energy and motivation to evaluate research data, uncover key insights, ensure new client products are accurately coded into the database, and recommend actionable steps that directly impact the bottom line for our clients in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

Analytics and Insights:

  • Analyze data to deliver clear, actionable recommendations that address client needs.
  • Provide ongoing insights to spot business gaps or opportunities.
  • Use Circana's Unify tools to offer the best analytic approach for client challenges.

Product Coding and Database Management:

  • Work with clients to ensure that every new product and item is properly coded in the database for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain an organized system to stay current with client product updates.

Consultative Selling:

  • Identify business opportunities and present tailored solutions to clients.
  • Ask insightful questions and bring fresh ideas to address client issues.

Communication and Presence:

  • Build trust and a strong rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Adapt your communication style to connect with different stakeholders effectively.

Client Focus:

  • Understand clients’ needs and go beyond to address problems they might not realize they have.
  • Communicate regularly and organize multiple projects to meet client expectations.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in syndicated data, analytics, category management, marketing, or sales, ideally within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or an organization that utilizes syndicated, point-of-sale (POS) or consumer panel data.
  • Proficiency in working with syndicated data solutions such as Circana/IRI/NPD preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate data and analysis into meaningful insights utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong skills in project management and process organization.
  • Ability to engage clients in a consultative manner to support and manage content deliverables effectively.

Location

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, USA with the flexibility to work business hours in Eastern Time. 

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $92,000.
