The Team:

The Journal of Commerce, a part of the S&P Global Market Intelligence business that produces data-driven information, analysis, and events covering the global supply chain. The team works closely with the strategic marketing team to expand and build upon our existing customer base.


Responsibilities and Impact:

The Client Engagement Manager's role is to grow engagement with core audience segments. The successful candidate will show a demonstrable ability to work closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders resulting in an increase of overall engagement with Journal of Commerce products, including TPM, the world’s largest container shipping conference. The Client Engagement Manager will report to the Head of Audience Growth. The responsibilities will be increasing engagement with retailers, consumer product companies, agricultural exporters, and other owners of cargo moving in the containerized supply chain.

  • Use internal and external data sources to develop a thorough understanding of the challenges facing corporate logistics teams

  • Create networking opportunities with existing and prospective customers

  • Identify new customers to begin engagement with by researching and analyzing key audience segments

  • Engage with customers to ensure they are getting the most out of our events and subscription products

  • Drive attendance of prospective customers at targeted geographic industry events

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and needs to create and execute solutions

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,846 to $110,130.25. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
