Claims Quality Auditor

The Quality Auditor must possess a clear understanding of the claims process, including interpretation of policy coverage and provisions, departmental standards, and state laws governing compliance. The Auditor's responsibility is to review claims files and provide observations based on departmental standards and laws, making sure any non-compliance issues are discussed with manager. The auditor prepares metric reports monthly. These reports help managers in the development and coaching of their staff.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
• Complete internal claim file audits on random selection of closed claims.
• Determine whether claims handling is aligned with the Fair Claims Settlement
Regulations.
• Collaborate with management identifying risk and potential training opportunities
discovered from audits
• Prepares reports and facilitates meetings with Claims Manager on results and
action plans on regulatory risk and outcomes.
• Maintain and update all documents pertaining to audit form, controls, processes,
job aids, and bulletins.
• Assists with internal audits when needed.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Adjusters License will be required in all states where adjuster licensing is
applicable.
• Minimum 3 years in property claims or equivalent related P&C insurance
experience.
• P&C Claims adjusting experience to include a strong level of knowledge in adjusting claims and interpretation of policy coverage and provisions, exposures, evaluation of the compensability of the claim, departmental standards, and state laws governing compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of all currently used estimating platforms
(example Xactimate).

Pay Range:
$63,400.00 - $105,800.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
