Responsibilities

 

Peraton is seeking to add an experienced CI/CD (DevOps) Developer to the team of highly skilled developers and Engineers supporting the FRBNY Cloud migration program

  What you will do:

  • Environment Review and Setup:
    • Review Development, Test, UAT, Staging, Production, and Failover environments in AWS.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Setup:
    • Setup CI/CD pipelines
    • Validate Test Automation in the pipeline
    • Validate Configuration Management, Version Control, Deployment setup
  • Deployment Automation:
    • Review scripts for deploying applications to AWS ECS.
    • Automate deployment processes for different environments.
  • Security Integration:
    • Review integration of SAST tools like SonarQube into the CI/CD pipeline and configure automated code scans for vulnerabilities.
    • Validate container scanning setup
    • Ensure the CI/CD pipeline enforces security policies and compliance requirements.
  • Issue Tracking and Remediation:
    • Review issue tracking for vulnerabilities and build failures and integrate with tools like JIRA for tracking and managing issues.
    • Review configuration of automated remediation steps for common issues and set up notifications and alerts for manual intervention when necessary.
  • Final Validation:
    • Review and document the CI/CD pipeline setup.
    • Perform final validation and testing of the entire CI/CD pipeline to ensure all components work seamlessly together and meet the project requirements.
  • Develop and maintains Ansible Playbooks
  • Setup / Manage Nexus/Artifactory repositories
  • Utilize GitLab/GitHub for pipeline orchestration and code management repository

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years of experience. Additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree
  • Familiarity with docker & an orchestration tool like Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker EE, etc.
  • Familiar writing code using languages such as Java, C, Python, Ruby, etc.
  • Understanding of Web development tools and deployment architecture
  • Understands microservices architecture and docker containers-based application
  • Experience with container management tools
  • Experience with RDBMS databases (SQL Server and Oracle) & unstructured databases (Mongo, Elasticsearch, etc).
  • Experience Agile/SAFe and related modern software development methodologies.
  • Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD administered projects
  • Experience with automated testing tools for unit, acceptance & performance testing
  • Experience using an IDEs (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and development of tool add-ins.
  • Experience in security & quality scanning tools
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Apply
