Chorus BPM® (AWD Lead (Remote USA)

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver software solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance assessments.
• Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, supporting the alignment of technology with business goals.
• Lead agile development processes, managing sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure high-quality code and design.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact project timelines.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as Chorus BPM® (AWD) Process designer in Life insurance Domain.
• Ability to understand and rearchitect tightly coupled/integrated systems
• Strong skills in technical architecture, project management and organizational change
• Strong problem solving/critical thinking skills to support best practices for standard business process design for technical requirements development, and system interconnect/integration design coordination with subsystems.
• Strong knowledge of systems methodology, project management, quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Basic understanding of Business Process Modeling techniques and tools to create/deploy/test business process models
• Basic understanding of Stored Procedures (SQL scripts); webservices (SOAP and RESTful)
• Basic understanding of LDAP/Active Directory application integration
• Experience working with OS365 integration
• DMN (Decision Model and Notation) or BPMN such as DROOLS experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong skills in data administration, design, and architecture
• Good leadership to provide guidance to less experienced personnel
• Ability to work in a team environment

Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,100 - $195,200.
