Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for homeowners first party claims leading to the proper disposition.** We’re looking for a CAT Field Property Adjuster to join our expanding team! The ideal candidate should be comfortable with 100% travel in this role. We’re seeking an independent worker who can manage claims from start to finish. Experience with Xactimate and a strong understanding of policy interpretation and insurance coverage are essential. You should also be comfortable writing estimates ranging from $150K to $200K and have experience with sketching in Xactimate. Our team uses drones, so the selected candidate will need to obtain a certification and learn to operate one. We are open to candidates in the Eastern or Central time zone states! Key Responsibilities
• Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st party homeowners' losses with complexity
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
• Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is $72,000 -$78,500 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
