Business Systems Analyst III (Remote Eligible)

As a Business Systems Analyst III (BSA), you will play a critical role in gathering and documenting customer requirements, translating them into actionable user stories for our Application Development team. You will work across a wide portfolio of applications and integrations using varying technologies. Your strong understanding of IT practices and terminology will enable you to drive project execution tasks to completion effectively. The BSA III will also lead agile ceremonies and interact directly with business users to ensure their needs are met.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews and workshops with customers to understand their needs and document requirements accurately.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the Application Development team.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure requirements are understood and met. Raise questions and provide clarifications as needed to drive projects to successful completion.
• Assist in troubleshooting and investigating issues for applications.
• Assist in testing and validating application and integration changes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
             •Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
             •Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and user stories for development team
• Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address process improvements
• Strong presentation, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong sense of customer/solution ownership, and experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile/SCRUM
• Scrum Master certification, or equivalent experience to obtain such certification
• Knowledge of requirements documentation tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, Github Projects, and/or Azure DevOps
• Basic experience with writing SQL and understanding the basics of table querying for use in documenting data requirements

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
