Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.
Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.
Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
This position is a direct report to the IT Technology Product Owner – Asset (in IT Operational Technology). Business Systems Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting Transmission and Distribution business systems and how they align with user needs. Documents requirements, establishes scope, objectives and determines strategy for implementing systems to achieve business goals including: gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business functions to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. Maintains existing systems and develops new as required.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & defining reporting and alerting requirements.
• Own and develop day to day relationship with business partners, working with them to develop, optimize and enhance business systems as well as establish a deep understanding of customers’ business and functional needs.
• Contribute to the strategic vision/plans of the business and IT and identify product enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify current landscape. Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations. Provide specific contributions as directed by Product Leader
• Provide analytical, functional, programming and technical support of Electric Transmission and Distribution systems equipment records, maintenance plans and orders, analytics and processes. Support data integrity through audits, process reviews and collaboration with the appropriate business unit.
• Support new and existing group activities including IT infrastructure, server architecture, and cyber security policies and tools. Exhibit knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C+, etc.
• Exhibit knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, C#, HTML, CSS, Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Participate in IT projects using Agile or Waterfall project management approaches.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant technical field with minimum of 2 years business systems analysis experience within the information technology or asset management field with proven experience on medium - large sized, simple & complex projects and implementing systems to achieve business goals.
• 0 - 2+ years’ experience working with project teams to determine implementation strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on most technical issues. Utilize a broad knowledge of business analysis, acquired through progressive experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with and communicating with a wide range of people – peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and business leadership, and others.
• Demonstrated experience in leading projects from a technical perspective.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with external constituent groups and clients.
• Knowledge how to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) effectively.
• Programming within the Microsoft Excel environment using VBA and Excel functions
• Programming within the Microsoft Access environment using VBA and internal Microsoft Access functionality.
• Knowledge in using, maintaining, and generating reports from Microsoft SQL databases.
• Knowledge in programming in C# and a willingness of learning and programming in other languages as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
• 1+ years’ experience with developing and documenting testing strategies
• 2+ years’ experience working with SAP/Maximo Work Management or similar
• Ability to proactively communicate business processes and needs in a clear, succinct, and relevant way.
Experience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiences
• Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
Agile Methodology knowledge and experience
Experience working in a DevOps environment
• Experience working in a Product Model Organization
• Knowledge in Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Programming, Project Management (CMMI Stage Gate Process) is desired or preferred.
• Experience working with Python / AWS infrastructure, RedShift
