Do you have a strong quantitative background including numerical modelling? Are you able to use strong communication skills to explain technical subjects to non-specialists and senior stakeholders? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Business Modelling Analyst to join our Business Modelling Team.
About the role
Reporting into the Project Modelling Consultant you will create high-level strategic models and analysis that underpin major investment, pricing, operations design, strategic and regulatory decisions. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of productivity measures across the operational pipeline.
You will also
• Effectively communicate outputs to a senior level, ensuring the implications are clearly understood.
• Ensure effective peer review and quality assurance takes place.
• Work independently, leveraging subject matter expertise across a range of business areas.
• Input ideas, advice and evaluation to other projects carried out within Business Modelling
• Analyse and manipulate very large quantities of data and create information with which managers can understand and act on.
About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:
• Strong quantitative background including numerical modelling (e.g., in Excel or Python)
• Able to think creatively and analytically to solve problems.
• Able to work well in both specialist and non-specialist teams as well as work independently.
• Comfortable engaging and influencing stakeholders from different disciplines, functions, and levels of seniority.
• Good level of consultancy and project management skills
