Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with a good degree of fluence in English to lead our business development initiatives and expand our market presence. The successful candidate will create strategic pathways to the market, foster sustainable growth through effective sales strategies, and promote the use of scanning technology while building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Promote the company’s products and drive business development and sales of scanning technology within various market sectors.
  • Raise awareness of Scanning Pens’ products via local community projects and leverage positive connections made with these organisations.
  • Develop case studies, training, and implementation materials. Use persuasive communication skills to highlight the educational benefits of our products.
  • Initiate, engage, and secure contracts and deals for company products.
  • Train, showcase, and inform customers, potential customers, and key stakeholders about our products.
  • Regularly review market strategy by analysing trends, monitoring competition, and maintaining market awareness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to organise media campaigns for product advertising.
  • Complete documentation and processes for new inquiries and sales.
  • reparse and distribute videos, media, visits, and publicity materials to generate interest in products.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to gather testimonials and videos for future promotions.
  • Generate information for weekly management meetings and regular market report updates.
  • Essential French mother tongue.
  • Essential brought up in both primary and secondary education system.
  • Strong tenure with a proven track record of building up a business from scratch over a 4 year period.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Confident and not telephone shy, willing to make cold calls based on warm leads.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and move around the country as needed.
  • Good command of English with excellent communication skills.
  • 4+ years work experience
