Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join Intel Government Technologies to lead our efforts to grow our presence in the US Defense and National Security (DNS) Business. Intel Government Technologies (IGT) is responsible for managing Intel's business with the US Federal Government. We collaborate with sales and marketing, government affairs, and Intel business units (BUs) to develop and execute programs for US Government (USG) agencies. Intel Government Technologies works with and across the defense industrial base (DIB) and partner ecosystem to deliver mission solutions to USG customers.
 

IGT's Mission: Drive rapid, sustained, profitable growth of Intel's business in the Federal markets in partnership with product, research, and foundry teams while maintaining compliant execution of programs. Our objective is to establish Intel as the national champion for semiconductors.

IGT is looking for an experienced Business Development Professional that is based in the Washington DC area who wants to work in this dynamic and growing environment. This role will work with various stakeholders in IGT to support products, research and development and foundry initiatives to build an investment grade portfolio of opportunities in support of multiple accounts in the DNS market.
 

The successful incumbent will have but not limited to:

  • Must be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, when there are constant demands for data and structure that may not currently exist
  • Support the executive leading our Defense and National Security (DNS) team to drive business development campaigns and development of a portfolio of opportunities into capture
  • It is expected that this person will be able to advocate and evangelize Intel's capability offerings, drive projects and build-out customer strategies that are complemented by Intel's capability offerings across the entire business. This will be performed through a variety of demand generation activities developed over the successful candidate's career
  • Good working knowledge of the microelectronics industry and the ecosystem in the US Government market
  • Good working knowledge of the government's budgeting process for the Department of Defense and other agencies within the DNS customer base
  • Understand deal governance and be comfortable presenting to key executive stakeholders up to and including the Executive Leadership Team
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to Obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering, Math, Science, Marketing, Program/Project Management, or in a related field …
