Job Description

As a Business Development Intern, you'll play a key role in identifying and engaging potential customers, helping to grow our business by turning cold or inactive accounts into exciting new sales opportunities. You'll gain hands-on experience in sales prospecting, lead qualification, and account strategy—all while working closely with our experienced sales team.
This internship requires the ability to work on-site from our Birmingham, AL office up to 3 days per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Qualify and assess inbound leads from phone and website inquiries
- Filter out unqualified prospects and identify high-potential accounts for follow-up
- Support Account Executives in managing key accounts and reaching out to potential new clients
- Maintain consistent outreach and follow-ups to nurture relationships and drive sales
- Make multiple touchpoints (calls, emails, messages) to create opportunities for sales demos
- Assist in executing sales strategies and contribute to overall revenue growth
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong interest in tech sales and business development
- Excellent phone and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication—verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Comfort working with data—analyzing, summarizing, and presenting insights
- Solid organization, project, and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office programs

Additional Information
The pay for this role is $16.00 per hour and interns will work 20-30 hours/week.
