Position overview:

In the role of Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for optimizing business processes, defining, and tracking key metrics, and solving complex challenges across our Growth team to support our overall revenue growth goals. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the business development team by creating Statements of Work (SOW) and proposal documents, conducting pipeline analysis, and managing the project lifecycle of Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

SOW/Proposal Creation:

Create proposal and SOW documents in line with information provided by the growth team, ensuring a timely turnaround with accuracy and consistency of information from one document to the next.

Ensure all documents are accurate, well-structured, and align with client requirements and company standards.

Maintain a repository of templates and standard content for quick turnaround of proposals.

Review all Gong Sales Calls to ensure accuracy of proposal creation.

Project Management:

Manage the end-to-end process of responding to proposal opportunities and RFPs, including coordinating with various departments to gather necessary information.

Develop timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.

Review and edit proposal/RFP responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.

Pipeline Analysis:

Use data and analytics to proactively measure and improve performance, including tracking key metrics such as lead conversion, deal size predictors, and win rates.

Prepare regular reports and dashboards with recommendations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date pipeline data, and streamlining of existing processes where necessary

Review all Gong Sales Calls to deliver frequent reporting to VP, Growth with learnings and opportunities

Administrative Support:

Assist in scheduling internal meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.

Maintain accurate records of all business development activities and client interactions, including Salesforce compliance.

Champions the use of sales enablement tools (e.g. Gong) across the team and ensures that such tools are being used to their fullest capability.

Training:

Provide training and support to team members on revenue operations best practices and tools.

Other administrative duties as required.

KPIs

• Timely delivery of sales decks, proposals, SOWs with the required accuracy and attention to detail

• Detailed analysis of revenue drivers, pipeline performance and sales activity to provide recommendations for improvements

• Production of monthly and quarterly reports including observations and recommendations for optimization

• Maintain 99% compliance of new business within Salesforce and proactively engage with team to troubleshoot any challenges

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years' experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or business operations, demonstrating a track record of strategic oversight and operational excellence.

• Strong project management skills with experience organizing timelines and deliverables across complex workstreams e.g. agency RFP responses.

• Deep knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, including the administration of platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot. While a Salesforce certification is an asset, it is not mandatory.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data assessment, manipulation, and analysis, showcasing strong analytical capabilities.

Competency in various digital tools and software, including:

Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Sales Enablement software

Sales velocity tools like HubSpot, SalesLoft, Outreach, Groove, etc.

Sales Intelligence/Business Intelligence (BI) software

Marketing Automation software

Exceptional collaboration skills, with proven experience acting as a liaison between diverse departments and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and project alignment.

Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to track, interpret, and transform metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) into actionable strategies for business growth.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a thoughtful approach to addressing challenges in a manner that aligns with the business's overall strategy and growth objectives.

A data-driven mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions based on concrete information and anticipate the implications of those decisions on the organization's future.

Outstanding communication and teaching skills, with the responsibility of simplifying complex processes for a wide range of audiences, ensuring new processes and workflows are easily understandable and implementable.

The role is open in the US and in Canada. The salary range for this position is $50-60K CAD - $35-45K USD. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of benefits is also available to all permanent employees.
