Summary of Role:  

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced US Benefits Manager to lead the design, administration, and optimization of our employee benefits programs. This role will be responsible for overseeing health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and wellness initiatives for our US workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization. 

This position has the ability to work in a hybrid environment in any of our US office locations OR be fully remote.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Benefits Strategy and Administration: 

  • Manage and administer all US employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, 401(k), and wellness programs. 

  • Partner with brokers, vendors, and consultants to ensure programs are cost-effective and competitive. 

  • Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process, ensuring effective communication with employees. 

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and FMLA. 

​Benefits Communication: 

  • Develop communication strategies to promote understanding and utilization of benefits programs. 

  • Prepare materials for benefits presentations, workshops, and employee education sessions. 

  • Provide guidance and counsel to employees on benefit matters, resolving complex issues and escalations. 

Vendor Management: 

  • Manage relationships with external benefits vendors, ensuring service levels are met and exploring opportunities for new services or improvements. 

  • Conduct periodic reviews of vendor contracts, negotiating renewals or transitions as needed. 

Data and Reporting: 

  • Analyze and monitor benefit plan costs, utilization data, and employee feedback to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. 

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on benefits strategy, costs, and performance. 

Compliance and Audits: 

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements and lead benefits-related audits as necessary. 

  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and internal reporting purposes. 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on US employee benefits. 

  • Deep knowledge of US health and welfare plans, 401(k) administration, and leave management. 

  • Strong understanding of federal and state benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.). 

  • Proven experience managing vendors and brokers, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel. 

Expected Salary Range

$95,200.00 - $202,800.00
