Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Benefit Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible for delivering presentations and educating clients’ employees on the open enrollment process and their benefits package for the plan year. Additionally, the Specialist will work with clients to ensure presentations and educational materials are available for reference throughout the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

· Become subject matter expert on our processes, services, plan designs and products

· Maintain a full understanding of employee benefits to speak expertly about a client’s plan offerings

· Maintain a general understanding of technology systems used for enrollment processes

· Travel to client offices to conduct open enrollment presentations for employees, or conduct the meetings virtually via Zoom

· Educate client employees on their benefit plans, how OE works, how to enroll, and answer questions

· Conduct educational workshops and client health fairs for client employees

· Works closely with the OE Project Managers and Account Manager to ensure a smooth process and meetings

· Assist with Spanish translation needs of OE material as needed

· Complete OE and New Hire custom recordings as needed

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

· 75-80% travel required, both within California and to neighboring states

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to present effectively to audiences of all sizes

· Exceptional communication, prioritization, and time management skills

· Expert relationship skills. Builds trust and rapport with clients, teammates, and vendors

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

· Positive, can-do attitude

· Ability to be flexible and adapt easily to change and a fast-paced environment

· Bilingual (Spanish), preferred

Education, Training and Experience:

· College degree required, preferred

· 3+ years’ experience preparing presentations and presenting to large audiences, required; 5+ years’ preferred

· 3+ years of experience in health & welfare benefits

· Valid California Life and Health license, required

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $90,000 per year.


Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
