Get to Know the Opportunity:
Benefitfocus is searching for a Documentation Project Manager to join our TangoHealth team, servicing our ACA platform. The Project Manager would coordinate all aspects of a product or service integration for external customers, from inception to installation. This includes extensive interaction with sales, customer service, product development, and other cross-functional teams. The Project Manager is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improve customer satisfaction using technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. The Project Manager oversees schedules and cross-functional deliverables to ensure successful ACA platform integration. (This is a remote position that may require some travel from time to time.)
Please Note: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.
The Contributions You'll Make:
Documentation
- Create and manage documentation requirements for the department.
- Coordinate and organize documentation in draft and final form.
- Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to create documentation for processes and procedures.
- Proactively seek out gaps in documentation and alert the team leaders.
- Train team members on processes and procedures within the scope of the role, i.e. general practice processes.
Project Management
- Outline project goals, resource requirements, and applicable milestones.
- Help create a project plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice on the project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan.
- Work closely with multiple teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.
- Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem.
- Document the status of the project, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Teaching/Training background required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Industry experience highly preferred: insurance, benefits administration, benefits consulting, SaaS, healthcare, BPO, etc.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
