 We are excited to bring on an AVP, Strategic Sourcing to join our Procurement Team in a remote environment.

 

Background details:
 This position will provide leadership and direction for the development and implementation of comprehensive Procurement sourcing strategies, supplier management and other initiatives supporting Marketing and Distribution categories, fully aligned and in collaboration with LFG’s business partners and requirements.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies for Marketing and Distribution categories while ensuring sourcing strategies align with and support accomplishment of business objectives.
  • Lead the development and delivery of the Marketing and Distribution categories savings delivery plan including establishment of sustainable, ongoing savings targets delivered via robust application of the strategic sourcing process
  • Build and continuously improve relationships with key suppliers and work with internal stakeholders and other parties around establishment of an effective, fit for purpose supplier relationship management program
  • Lead the negotiation of tactical and strategic supplier agreements and work collaboratively with LFG Legal counsel to strengthen and streamline processes and ways of working for contract review and approval
  • Directs and provides leadership and guidance to sourcing managers in development and achievement of goals and objectives while working to constantly strengthen organizational capability and ensures top talent is hired and retained
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field plus minimum of ten (10) years’ strategic sourcing experience, to include demonstrated track record in driving supplier rationalization and cost-out programs in a cross functional environment
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ strategic sourcing experience dedicated to Marketing and Distribution categories, with proven, demonstrated capability in influencing and driving sourcing initiatives and impactful change programs with associated benefit delivery
  • 5+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience

 

Nice-to-haves:

  • Masters of Business Administration or Advanced Degree highly desirable.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) desirable

The pay range for this position is $120,600 - $220,100 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
