GCG Automation & Factory Solutions (AFS) is currently seeking an Automation Strategic Growth Manager to join our team! As our Automation Strategic Growth Manager, you will play a critical role in driving strategic go-to-market planning for industrial automation product lines such as Siemens, Banner, and Festo. You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, analyzing our existing customer base, identifying opportunities for expansion, and implementing targeted outreach initiatives to grow our accounts across the country.
You’ll focus on expanding market presence for automation technologies including PLC's & I/O, HMI's, drives, motion control, and industrial networks/fieldbuses, working closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance market penetration and revenue growth.
You’ll also take the lead in industry representation, showcasing GCG’s industrial automation solutions at trade shows, customer presentations, and industry events. By leveraging data-driven insights, you’ll provide guidance and direction to sales and technical teams, strengthening their product knowledge and market positioning skills.

This role offers a remote work arrangement when not engaged in work related travel however we would prefer candidates that are located within a reasonable driving distance of one of our office locations. Those locations include:

- St Louis, MO
What you’ll do
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Utilize strategic planning techniques such as SWOT to identify growth opportunities, analyze competition and develop sales and marketing campaigns to drive sales growth and market share gain
- Product Evangelist: Provide technical expertise and market knowledge to support the sales team in effectively positioning solutions and presenting the optimal solution for the customer; act as the product evangelist to build excitement and confidence and mindshare across the sales team by providing relevant and accurate product knowledge and competitive insights
