Job Description
This role serves as an Audit Team Lead in the Global Safety and Environment (GSE) Global Audit program. The purpose of the global audit program is to assess compliance with applicable governmental regulations and company procedures and to assess the effectiveness of management systems and controls.
The Audit Team Lead is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the GSE Audit program, completing audits and advising senior management of potential issues that may present significant risk to the organization.
The Audit Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of planning, preparation and execution of assigned audits and specifically:
Establishing the detailed scope and required resources for assigned Audits
Organizing the audit logistics
Managing the costs of the audit within the approved budget
Identifying, selecting and managing required company subject matter experts (SME) and consultant services.
Ensuring the audit scope is covered as well as other potential concerns as identified
Managing the audit objectively and escalating concerns appropriately
Ensuring audit documentation is accurate, clear, concise, complete and traceable to requirements
Managing information from the audit and utilize established business systems
Communicating the results of the Audit to the Site/Area and the GSE Leadership Team
Approving and providing follow up and closeout of actions developed to address audit observations
Utilizing the established audit program protocols and systems
Developing audit program reports as requested covering metrics, controls, practices and compliance status
Providing training to our Company's Auditors and other participants as required
Demonstrating continuous professional development across areas to be audits
Travel is expected to be between 35-45%
This position may be located at any Company site
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
BA/BS
Required Experience and Skills:
Degree qualification (Science/Quality/Technical) Environmental or safety related technical discipline is an advantage.
Certified Environmental Auditor; Certified Auditor; Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Certified Safety Professional or on path to certification is an advantage.
Over 5 years’ experience working on EHS programs.
Site EHS experience.
Knowledge of EHS standards and legislation
Leadership, planning, organizing, and negotiating abilities
Ability to analyze operations and make sound judgments
Exceptional written and oral communication skills

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$126,500.00 - $199,100.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
