Associate Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary:

We are currently looking for an Associate Site Reliability Engineering to join us in Boston. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute code to increase the scalability and reliability of the service

• Contribute to software tests and participate in peer review to increase the quality of our codebase

• Actively participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration

• Work within a small agile team to develop and improve SRE software, support your peers, plan and self-improve

• Network with other talented interns in an inclusive and diverse workplace where you can be yourself and thrive

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English

• Knowledge and willingness to use Python, Golang or similar programming language

• Basic knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating system

• Basic understanding of public cloud technologies

• Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally

• Willingness to learn and proactivity work as a part of a wider team

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
