Associate Manager, Software Engineering

The Red Hat Developer Hub (RHDH) Plugins and AI team is looking for an Associate Manger in Boston. In this role, you will work as part Developer Experience team, responsible for supporting our RHDH Plugins and AI solutions. You’ll manage a team of engineers responsible for delivering on the Developer AI strategy. You'll work with your peers around the world to guide initiatives and continually develop technical team members. As an Associate Manager, you’ll need to have experience managing teams in a technological and fast-paced environment.

What you will do:
* Manage and maintain a team of technically skilled engineers covering RHDH Plugins and AI solutions
* Own the development and delivery of RHDH Plugins and AI solutions
* Work closely with stakeholders and peers to achieve various deliverables
* Manage stakeholder expectations
* Continuously promote and guide the professional and personal development of your team
* Design/Implement team related strategic improvements
* Maintain a high level of employee engagement within your team
* Enable the team to work in an Agile setup

What you will bring:
* Previous hands on coding experience as Senior Software Engineer or above
* Very good communication skills.
* Proven ability to learn and apply new skills and processes rapidly and coach others

*Ability to work Hybrid from Boston MA, Raleigh NC or Lowell MA
* Demonstrated leadership experience with solid customer focus
* Ability to identify and grow potential in team members
* Ability to handle multiple task at once, prioritize, and work well under pressure
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, Red Hat associates and customers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Familiarity with AI space is a plus

The salary range for this position is $144,660.00 - $238,650.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
