The Associate Director Retail & Wholesale Operations (Remote) reports to the ED, Retail & Wholesale Sales & Operations, and will be assigned to support a cross-functional National Accounts team consisting of 3-6 sales directors responsible for delivering Sandoz US annual sales target across all Gx, Brand and Biosimilar business.This role will routinely execute activities supporting customer’s operational needs by
• leveraging their expertise to drive sales initiatives and ensure the efficient operations of our sales processes
• overseeing and executing multiple projects related to customer activities and process improvement, ensuring alignment with sales objectives
• utilizing analytics skills with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the Sales team to optimize customer engagement and sales performance

As the Associate Director, Retail & Wholesale Operations you will be a proven professional capable of driving growth thru leading operational activities, engaging cross-functional teams on strategic planning, and ensures concise communication with internal and external customers with demonstrated success in delivering on the following responsibilities. This is an individual contributor role.
Your additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage cross-functional coordination of customer Request for Proposal (RFP) and New Business Opportunity (NBO) processes. Managing operational activities throughout the bid cycles
Coordinates all planning activities for customer across the organization working with Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Franchise ensuring the maintenance of accurate forecasts and inventory levels for customers.
Create and utilize analytics, reporting and dashboards to track awarded products
Collaborate with National Account team, ED Retail & Wholesale, and Field Sales to drive sales growth for awarded products.
Lead Operational activities supporting product launches from pipeline activities thru Day 1 for all Gx, Brand, Bio, and product changes
Coordinates all planning activities for customer across the organization working with Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Franchise ensuring the maintenance of accurate forecasts and inventory levels for customers
Collaborate with National Account team and Marketing with Target Setting, Account Strategy Development and Implementation
Function as SME for both Sandoz and Customer data and digital platforms, such as: ValueCentric, SAP tool, Scout CM NBO/BIR, MS Share Point, Customer portals

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
Proven experience working with direct customer relationships in wholesale channel
Proven experience with wholesalers for Generics, Brand and/or Biosimilar products
Minimum 7 years' general experience in biopharmaceuticals
Desirable:
Strong customer facing skills from an operational standpoint
Leading cross functional teams for bid activities
Contract management and administration
Strong understanding terms of contracts and how it impacts the business for both the customer & manufacturing
Strong customer orientation that ultimately results in trust-based customer relationships
Financial analysis and business analytics
Position Location: Remote
Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position will require approximately 10% minimal travel, as business needs require.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $151,200 - 226,800/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
