Job Description
This Procurement Associate Director role will be a member of the Global Site Services Procurement Team, a team of 12 procurement professionals based in various countries around the world, which is part of the Global Supplier Management Group. Scope managed by the Global Site Services Procurement team include the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Program for all our Company's facilities worldwide, the MRO Integrator Program for manufacturing facilities (spare parts used in maintenance and operation activities and stores management), various programs and sourcing initiatives (primarily global or regional) for site services (real estate services, environmental services, industrial hygiene services, waste management, food services, furniture, archiving, office supplies, industrial gases, etc).
The role will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies and initiatives, and the relationship and performance management of strategic suppliers, at global level as well as at regional and local level for the NORAM region.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute category strategies for site services including but not limited to facility management, real estate, food services, environmental services, industrial hygiene, waste management, at global level as well as at regional and local level for the NORAM region.
Lead cross functional teams through the Sourcing Management Process at global level as well as at regional and local level for the NORAM region. Drive competitive sourcing events (RFQs, RFIs, RFPs), and support vendor selection, commercial negotiation and contracting.
Support and implement Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers to maximize supplier performance, ensure contract compliance and delivery of contractual commitments, and optimize supplier capabilities to address business requirements.
Drive cost savings and value generation, tier 1 and tier 2 supplier diversity and scope 3 emissions reduction through strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the site services category, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
In particular: manage the food services program and Supplier for NORAM; IFM program: manage, mentor and support the development of our strategic diverse IFM partners in NORAM.

Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
10+ years of working experience in procurement, supply chain, facility management, engineering, production or finance.
5+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on site services category management.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful category management strategies that deliver significant cost savings and operational efficiencies, at regional and/or global level.
Proven track record of leading the governance and performance management of regional and/or global programs and strategic supplier relationships involving multiple stakeholder groups.
Project Management skills and experience, with proven track record of leading sourcing initiatives, from initiation to successful implementation.
Autonomy and ability to work self-directed in a fast-paced global matrixed environment.
Willingness to find answers to problems and challenges on their own, and through connectivity with internal and external collaborative outlets.
Multicultural awareness and the desire and ability to work within international teams, often remotely.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Experience and Skills:
MBA or advanced degree.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to site services within the pharmaceutical sector.
Experience working with or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Experience with Integrated Facility Management services at either local, regional or global level (in an operational role or a support function role)

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$122,800.00 - $193,300.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
