Global Real Estate Strategy is a strategic corporate function that serves our company’s global business units, including Manufacturing, Commercial, Technical Operations, Research and Development, and Corporate Units, by identifying and executing creative and innovative real estate and workplace solutions aligned with corporate strategy.

The Associate Director of Real Estate Strategic Planning will play a crucial leadership role in driving strategic initiatives within the organization's real estate portfolio. This position will lead the team responsible for managing and analyzing data, supporting strategic planning processes, and ensuring the effective execution of real estate projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, strategic thought leadership, and a deep understanding of real estate dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Analysis: Oversee the management and analysis of large datasets relevant to real estate assets, market trends, and performance metrics. Identify patterns, trends, and insights through comprehensive data analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Lead the development of advanced statistical models and forecasting tools to enhance real estate planning processes.

  • Dashboard Development: Direct the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to stakeholders at all organizational levels, facilitating informed decision-making.

  • Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather critical inputs for strategic initiatives, including market analysis, site selection, and portfolio optimization. Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans by integrating quantitative and qualitative insights. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior leadership that highlight key findings, strategic recommendations, and actionable initiatives.

  • Project Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, and resource allocations for strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics. Monitor project execution against defined milestones, providing timely updates to management and stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability. Facilitate effective stakeholder meetings, ensuring comprehensive support and follow-up actions.

  • Executive-Level Communication: Prepare and present executive-level presentations that effectively communicate project goals, performance metrics, and outcomes, ensuring clarity and impactful storytelling. Translate complex project data and information into engaging visual formats to enhance understanding among diverse audiences.

  • Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in data analysis and project execution. Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team, promoting best practices in strategic planning and data management.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the real estate strategic planning function. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in data analysis and real estate strategy.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, Analytics, or a related field.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in real estate strategic planning, data analysis, or a similar role.

  • Proven ability to manage and interpret large datasets with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting.

  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for presenting complex information clearly and persuasively.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide teams effectively.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Advanced Proficiency in Predictive Modeling: Experience in developing and implementing predictive models using statistical methods to forecast various data-driven outcomes, coupled with a strong command of machine learning techniques to enhance decision-making processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to align strategic planning initiatives with organizational goals, while effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and support.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for presenting complex information clearly and persuasively.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$126,500.00 - $199,100.00
