Job Description

IT Finance is a full-service Financial Planning & Analysis Function to guide our Technology organization to invest in value creating capabilities to help our compoany save and improve lives.

This role supports the SVP for the Chief Technology Office (CTO) and their leadership team. CTO is responsible for evolving our architecture capability while establishing scalable, agile, and future proof foundational capabilities across data, analytics, automation, and platform. 

Capabilities within CTO include:

  • Enterprise Architecture

  • HyperAutomation and Artificial Intelligence

  • Experience Design

Responsibilities of this role include:

Leadership & Partnership:

  • Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor, partnering closely with the SVP of CTO and their leadership team of AVPs and EDs to ensure coordinated planning and execution of client area priorities

  • Support IT Financial Management transformation of CTO emerging from the Business of IT program, including evolution of the product model, workforce/resource management and demand management.

  • Partner with the business to ensure an effective control environment

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Accountable for the end-to-end development of Budget, LROP and Forecasts for the individual value teams, but also the larger CTO organization, including execution and analysis of strategy and business plans.

  • Effectively collaborate with stakeholders and facilitate trade-offs to ensure resources are allocated to the highest value programs.

  • Develop Integrated Business Cases for Technology investments in partnership with business stakeholders and Divisional Finance to articulate the value expectations of investments

  • Developing expense budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range operating plans that enable clients to meet their goals and achieve broader organizational targets.

  • Playing a central role in developing the Profit Plan, Long Range Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and Quarterly Tallies

  • Oversee and perform monthly close responsibilities, including preparing journal entries, reviewing actual results, providing variance commentary, analyzing spending trends and proposing any corrective actions as necessary

  • Develop ad hoc analyses, processes, and tools in support of change initiatives and other business needs

  • Proactively challenging and driving continuous process improvement

​Required Skills:

  • 5+ years in Finance, business operations, business strategy, investment management, or similar field

  • Plan, lead and implement successful large-scale transformations in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership involved.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Apply knowledge of FE&A frameworks to define ROI and align on value capture/realization.

  • Assess budget, cost optimization and cost driver analysis to provide meaningful insights for teams developing business cases and making investment decisions.

  • Ability to guide and influence interdisciplinary teams on financial concepts and how that impacts Value Management

  • Communicate financial and performance information to leadership and colleagues for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to act as strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to the business.

Preferred Skills:

  • Work well in a matrixed organization and across global teams to drive alignment.

  • Demonstrate strong communicating and influencing abilities to ensure buy-in from leadership and the business.

  • Financial Evaluation or other Value Management experience

  • Flex between high-level strategic thinking and tactical implementation

  • Bring a unique perspective that reimagines current ways of working.

  • •Skilled in data analysis platforms such as PowerBI

Education Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related discipline

  • MBA Preferred

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$122,800.00 - $193,300.00
