Job Summary
Compass Group North America Sales has an Associate Director of Business Development position available on the Healthcare sales team. This professional top-performer will work under the supervision of the Vice President of Sales Operations and focus on accelerating pipeline velocity and deal momentum. This individual will work closely with the sales team that they support to do account research, manage outbound prospecting, support messaging for client meetings, proposals and presentations, and activate business plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute strategic prospecting strategy by:
- Researching targeted accounts and prospective buyers to gain perspective on organizational business needs, current state of services, and pain points
- Owning and manage outbound prospecting, inclusive of account-based marketing, inside sales partnership, direct prospecting and in-person drops, all with aligned messaging
- Using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other data sources to connect and ascertain points connectivity
- Activate the assigned sales team’s business plans to cultivate and close targeted accounts
- Support messaging and preparation for client meetings, proposals, and presentations
- Develop cross-selling strategy, working with operations to generate leads and opportunities within existing accounts
- Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically including partnering with operating colleagues
- Build trust with prospects by understanding industry and trending business challenges, becoming proficient in healthcare industry knowledge, and making meaningful connections
- Use CRM to document and track activity for assigned Sales Team
Preferred Qualifications
- Interested candidates should have a BA or equivalent experience
- Experience in business development with proven sales results
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system
- Team Player who wants to be part of and contribute to the success of a top-caliber sales organization
- Ability to represent the organization at a variety of industry and non-industry events
- Excellent communication skills
- High energy level, strong executive presence and the ability to progress further in the organization
