Associate Consultant, Hotel Spend Management (Remote)

As part of the Hotel Spend Management team you will engage with internal and external stakeholders to strategize and implement effective hotel programs by using powerful analytics and innovative sourcing strategies.  You’ll leverage BCD Travel’s ongoing performance management process to continuously elevate existing hotel programs, drive additional savings and increase return on investment.

To be successful in this role you must be skilled in managing multiple internal stakeholders and tasks simultaneously within timeline and budgetary guidelines.  You should be skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word products, have a high level of attention to detail, exceptional time management skills, and be confident in providing robust optimization recommendations that support client strategies.      

As an Associate Consultant, you will

• Support consultant, senior consultant, and managing consultants in delivering on administrative related project tasks, rate availability management, bid analysis, and other tasks as assigned
• High attention to detail, both in written and visual formats, in order to support client facing deliverables and communication
• Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to create detailed reports and presentations that offer clear, actionable insights for clients.  Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
• Collect, analyze, and interpret travel data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and efficiency improvements, ensuring that insights are aligned with client’s strategic goals
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to accommodate specific client needs, as requested
• Understand data analysts’ and consultants’ roles and responsibilities in project delivery
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal project stakeholders to support accurate and timely presentation of various data elements
• Exceptional time and project management skills to support numerous individuals and projects simultaneously
• Exhibit proficiency with Advito proprietary and third-party tools used to conduct consulting analyses
• This position will process and support product improvement initiatives

About you                                                 

• Able to communicate effectively with internal project stakeholders, suppliers, and clients using industry common language
• Interest in staying abreast of industry trends and developments to continuously improve the consultancy's service offerings. Desire to participate in the creation of innovative solutions that leverage new technologies or methodologies in business travel.
• High emotional intelligence and enjoys building global relationships that foster open communication and trust with internal and external customers
• Able to communicate and present complex ideas and challenging messages effectively, verbally, visually and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytics skills, ability to decode and translate visualizations into data-driven actions
• Comfortable with evolving technology and its use as an enabler
• Self-starter with a consultative and proactive approach and proven ability to manage competing priorities to deliver high quality results within project deadlines

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of  Associate Consultant, Hotel Spend Management is between $56,000 and $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
