The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Assistant Controller, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Coordinating month end close activities with cross functional teams within finance
- Maintaining financial data integrity and accuracy for the Company’s US and Canadian subsidiaries.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly business unit fluctuation analysis
- Ensuring compliance with company policy, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements
- Work closely with internal audit team to develop and maintain strong internal controls
- Partnering with our service provider to ensure compliance with deadlines, processes and metrics.
- Mentoring, training and building a positive team environment.
- Performing project management activities, including status reporting, resource planning, progress monitoring and workload prioritization.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of finance, accounting job experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND fourteen (14) years of finance, accounting job experience in a private, public, government or military environment
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in an MBA or graduate degree in finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified management Accountant (CMA)
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Ability to interact and communicate at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Financial acumen
- SAP and other systems knowledge
Work location: Remote - United States
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
