AQI is seeking a Global Pursuit and Proposal Manager to lead the pursuit process and produce on-time deliverables for large sales projects. Your primary goal will be to enhance AQI's success in winning Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Tenders (RFTs).

This is a remote job and can be located in either Canada or the U.S. Job posting locations may indicate various locations.

In this role, you will drive the momentum of the pursuit, collaborating with cross-functional team members to ensure timely, compliant deliverables. You will also identify potential global projects for AQI, working closely with the Sales Team and Strategic Account Managers, as well as forming partnerships with engineering consulting firms and other Veralto operating companies.

A Day in the Life:
As a Global Pursuit and Proposal Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying RF(X) opportunities for bid tenders and proposal submissions.

  • Managing the preparation, assembly, review, and submission of RFX responses, ensuring compliance with governance.

  • Overseeing multiple concurrent pursuits to ensure on-time, compliant delivery with minimal oversight.

  • Collaborating with the Sales Team to define pricing strategies and execution plans.

  • Executing the post-pursuit process, including win/loss reviews and tracking KPIs to improve proposal success rates.

  • Applying Strategic Pursuit Practice (SP) methodologies to close large opportunities.

  • Facilitating risk assessment and contract negotiation discussions, and transitioning proposal information to the project implementation team upon contract signature.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, Technology Management or related field.

  • 5+ years of proposal creation experience in a professional services environment.

  • It will be good if you also have a strong knowledge of industry best practices (e.g. Shipley and APMP and excellent project management skills.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and effective communication skills to effectively engage with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to present complex information clearly.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
