We have an exciting new remote opportunity with our Digital Technology (DT) team for an API Software Engineer.

What You Will Do:

- Use Agile software methodology to plan, build, test, and deploy product features/functionality.

- Implement APIs and connectivity solutions across digital products.

- Write APIs and API contracts.

- Help drive software engineering best practices.

- Collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team of software developers, QA engineers, designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.

- Conduct data modeling, support data architecture decisions, and create queries for relational and transactional databases.

- Write code that is documented and tested (unit, etc.).

- Monitor and continuously improve code to meet software development standards set by the team.

- Develop a deep knowledge of the data sources used for data modeling and collaborate effectively with the data owners/stewards to understand the business context of the data being used in the modeling.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- BS degree in MIS, Business, Engineering, or related degree and 8+ years of prior relevant work experience; OR an Advanced Degree in MIS, Business, Engineering, or …
