The Opportunity:

Develop, monitor, and trend data regarding operation workflows, key performance indicators, and create other quality improvement items across the legacy and commercial business lines with a focus of operational and financial monitoring. The position will utilize Excel, Access, PowerQuery, Reporting Workbench, Datawatch Monarch, PowerBi, and data visualization applications. The individual will work closely with information services and end users along with serving as a resource for report development throughout the Bon Secours Mercy Health System & Ensemble Health Partners. The incumbent must be competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of an applications development cycle.

III. Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in the development of recommendations & tools to identify opportunities for growth related to business operations within in the Revenue Cycle
  • Identifying, developing and validating the appropriate technological solution for various reporting needs.
  • Conduct routine analysis and tests of various components of reports to ensure proper processes yield expected results.
  • Manage ad-hoc & recurring reports and analyses for site leaders and key business partners.
  • Provide insight to decision makers in the organization using analyses of past performance and expected future results.
  • Analyze data to measure effectiveness of business processes and assist with development of process improvements.
  • Identify, investigate, track, and resolve errors ensuring the solutions are timely and of acceptable quality.
  • Must be able to handle potentially stressful situations and multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Develop reporting tools to support business decision-making, forecasting and performance improvement.
  • Review, understand and contribute to business strategies.
  • Prepare presentation of report findings for leadership.
  • Work requires the ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of patients and the confidentiality of hospital and departmental documents.

  • Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 2+ years of data interpretation and analysis experience
  • Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced knowledge
  • Other Knowledge, Sills and Abilities Preferred:
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, Experience in SQL, Crystal Reports, PowerQuery, PowerBi.

  • This position pays between $62,500 - 119,700 based on experience
