The Analyst, Customer Supply Chain is the primary supply chain planning and logistics strategic thought leader for the Dollar Channel & Convenience Channel team. This role will lead the key supply chain elements of Forecasting, VMI replenishment, Inventory Strategy, Customer Relationship Management, OTIF excellence, and Joint Business Planning. This role is a critical partner to the Value Team Leader / NAMs and will personally develop strong relationships with the supply chain, operations, and logistics leaders at Dollar General, Family Dollar, and our Top Convenience Channel retailers. The customer supply chain organization will play a critical role in helping the customer teams and the total Consumer organization in delivering against their shared goals and objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Play a key leadership role with the Value Channel sales team to deliver against the overall Joint Business Plan and ensure strong integration of logistics solutions/capabilities to grow the business and create value, both in-store and online.
- Build and foster relationships with supply chain and store operations personnel at Dollar General, Family Dollar, and top Convenience retailers.
- Establish and manage robust supply chain scorecards that represent mutually defined annual goals and achieve the critical on-time/in-full, on-shelf availability, cash/inventory, as well as other key metrics.
- Conduct Vendor Managed Inventory activity for top accounts.
- Partner with internal functions such as Industrial Affairs, Finance, Sales Strategy, Marketing, etc. to thread the voice of the customer into the daily actions of the organization.
- Maintain regular views of trade inventory / retail in-stock / lost sales and ensure the accuracy of item-level data.
- Ensure forecasting capabilities for the business are delivering expected accuracy results and key opportunities identified monthly.
- Create a culture in which the customer supply chain resources partner with sales to drive sustainable growth at key customers.
- Anticipate and resolve customer, supply chain, or commercial issues for key customers.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience across multiple areas of the supply chain, including roles involving direct customer interactions, CPG experience preferred.
- Supply/demand planning experience preferred.
- VMI software application experience preferred.
- A demonstrated track record for delivering results, developing capabilities, exceeding goals, and being recognized as an expert in delivering breakthrough and innovative solutions.
- Ability to develop organizational capabilities while influencing others.
- Lead and inspire others when facing highly ambiguous, complex situations.
- Eager to improve oneself, the immediate team, and the greater community.
- Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to leverage Excel and other planning tools in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $90,000.00. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
