The AI & Automation Specialist for IT Support will be responsible for exploring, designing, and piloting automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance IT Support and Managed Services efficiency. This role will work closely with IT Services teams to identify pain points, develop proof-of-concept solutions, and refine AI-assisted support mechanisms, including chatbot automation, AI-powered ticket classification, and intelligent knowledge base enhancements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Automation & AI Prototyping
- Research and propose AI-driven automation opportunities for IT support.
- Develop, test, and refine pilot solutions, such as AI-powered chatbots, LLM-assisted knowledge retrieval, and automated ticket categorization.
- Assist in training and fine-tuning AI models for support automation.
- Work with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) to integrate AI solutions.
Support Optimization & Knowledge Management
- Assist in structuring AI-enhanced self-service knowledge bases.
- Identify opportunities for intelligent search and knowledge recommendation enhancements.
- Support automation of L0/L1 support workflows to reduce manual effort.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with IT Services teams to collect feedback on AI & automation pilots.
- Stay up to date with trends in AI, automation, and IT support technologies.
- Document findings and contribute to best practices for AI in IT Services.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, AI, or any related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1 to 4 years of experience in IT support, automation, or AI-driven solutions.
- Exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (Servicenow, Jira Service Management).
- Basic experience with AI-Driven tools such as chatbots, NLP models.
- Knowledge with automation scripting or Low-code automation (Power Automate, UiPath).
- Advanced English skills (Conversational)

- Exposure to LLM fine-tuning and chatbot development.
- ITIL certification
- Knowledge of Data Analysis or AI-Powered decision making tools.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$49,400- $66,600 MXN Monthly
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
