The Agile Salesforce Engagement Lead, within our Digital Practice, is a pivotal role responsible for driving successful Salesforce solution implementations through strong client partnerships and expert project management. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies, while effectively managing scope, timelines, and budgets. They will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering clear communication and building trust, to deliver tailored Salesforce solutions that meet and exceed business objectives. This role demands a blend of technical Salesforce knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate complex projects and drive positive client outcomes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Serve as the primary client point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their business needs and objectives.
Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, and manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional 1 teams (developers, business analysts, testers) to ensure successful project delivery.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
Manage change requests and ensure alignment with project scope and client expectations.
Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders, including clients and internal management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems).
8+ years of experience leading software development projects, with 5+ years leading Salesforce implementations.
Proven experience working in an agile environment, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
Experience managing project budgets and timelines.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Consultant, Salesforce Project Management).
Experience with specific Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud).
Experience in a consulting environment.
Experience with multiple Salesforce implementation methodologies.
Experience managing large scale enterprise level Salesforce projects.
Experience with user story creation and backlog management.
Experience using project management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $149,200.00-$268,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
