As a Data Project Manager on our WHODAT Car, You will lead an agile team focused on building aggregated data products for Workplace Solutions Value Stream Agile Release Train supporting Group Insurance products of Mutual of Omaha.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2025, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2025, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2025 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serves as a Scrum Master and process expert in a Scaled Agile environment, overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful Program Increment planning and execution. Serves as an Agile coach to the team to increase agile maturity enabling them to become a self-organizing high performing team. 
  • Builds and leads high-performing teams, including building strong relationships with product owners, solution leads, stakeholders, customers, shared services teams and other team members.  
  • Help build strong vendor partnerships, monitor project progress, budget and deliverables by working with internal teams and consultants. 
  • Facilitates day-to-day work coordination, prioritization, and removal of impediments. Tracks work status, manages issues, and evaluates progress, quality, and costs.   
  • Manages run, grow and transform work for the team and facilitates continuous improvement/growth plans for the team in DevOps, Operational Excellence and customer experience. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of strong Project Management experience in IT including managing project planning, execution and delivery, financial analysis and problem resolution.    
  • Scrum Master Experience: Leads and facilitates Scrum events and ceremonies, removing impediments, and educating/ensuring teams follow Agile principles.   
  • Experience defining issues and opportunities for innovation, business and technology needs, and implementing solutions.   
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and collaboration skills with a proven track record of clearing roadblocks.   
  • Ability to manage work across various technologies and business functions through outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical audiences.   
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with data projects. 
  • Servant Leader Mindset including supporting and developing team members, facilitating collaboration, leading by example and prioritizing the team’s success.   
  • Project Management, Scrum Master, and SAFe certifications.  
  • Insurance industry experience.
