The Advisory Services Manager partners with the Advisory Services Director to lead the growth and expansion of distribution and sales of Empower’s Managed Account program to existing and prospective clients across the LMN business segment.  This role would focus primarily Large clients ranging from $150M - $750M. In addition, the Advisory Services Manager focuses specifically on advice solutions such as Dynamic Retirement Manager (DRM), My Total Retirement (MTR), and to some extent, Advisor Managed Accounts (AMA).

What you will do:

  • Manage all or support aspects of sales positioning and execution for DRM and MTR for assigned book of business.
  • Provide competitive feedback from marketplace to influence further product development and management for the DRM and MTR programs.
  • Partner with the Advisory Services Director and other leaders as a MTR resource and subject matter expert to LMN business segment, serving as the expert on the DRM/MTR experience.
  • Partner with the Advisory Services Director and other leaders as a AMA resource for Empower LMN segment.
  • Maintain current, accurate, and qualified pipeline report for all prospects and sales activity.
  • Partner with internal sales colleagues to identify, prioritize and maintain opportunities at all stages of pipeline.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience.
  • FINRA 6, 63 and 65 Required.
  • Generic Fingerprinting Required.
  • 8 – 12 successful years in a related field sales/financial services role.
  • Distribution organization experience.
  • Comprehensive industry/retirement plan knowledge.
  • Demonstrated relationship management, project management, and effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong partnering/collaboration skills enabling them to drive collective success in a multi-channel enterprise.
  • Familiarity with retirement plan-based and retail managed accounts solutions
  • Ability to travel 40 – 60% of time or more based on business needs.

Base Salary Range

$135,300.00 - $196,125.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
